While Toledo is known for being the Glass City, it technically is also one that is on water. The Maumee River runs right through most of Toledo, and are super close to Michigan and Indiana, two homes of the Great Lakes. If you grew up in Northwest Ohio, chances are you spent weekends up at a cottage on one of the Great Lakes with friends and family. These weekend made some of the best memories year round that we will never be able to forget, and also inspired us to see our Great Lakes as a fun "mini-vacation" no matter what.
