For six months in 1988 it was panda-monium at the Toledo Zoo! They were given an opportunity to exhibit two giant pandas on loan from China. Thousands of people lined up everyday for hours to get a glimpse of these rare animals. Images of the pandas, Nan Nan and Le Le, were printed on glasses, mugs, and, our personal favorite, t-shirts.
